Born from famous WW2 Bristol Aeroplane Company and Prewar automobile manufacturer Frazer Nash, The Bristol Motor company produced a limited number of large GT and Saloon cars over its 66-year history, most with names and design inspiration harkening back to its aeronautical roots.
One of the best products to come out of this fantastically quirky British manufacturer is the Bristol 411 which was produced from 1969 until 1976. With a total of 6 different build series, each an improvement to the one before there are few 411’s alike. The car on offer here is a 1975 Series 5 Version of the 411, featuring the larger 6.5 Liter Chrysler overhead valve V8 and 4 headlight front fascia. Finished in fantastic ‘Eau de Nile’ Mist green over biscuit interior this stately V8 grand tourer will get you anywhere in style. Beyond its attractive spec, the history of the car also piques the curiosity, having been owned by Gerard van Lennep, brother to famous Porsche racing driver and Le Mans winner Gijs van Lennep and successful racing driver in his own right.
